i had the opportunity to donate my time and make photos for nathan hale high school's production of "the drowsy chaperone" this year. did some headshots for the young actors and i will be shooting the full production as well, but here are some sneak peeks of rehearsals from a few weeks ago! if you live in seattle, buy your tickets today, the show run starts next week!
i headed up to skagit valley tulip festival on april fools day and april fools! no tulips yet! washington has had an abnormally cool winter, slowing the bloom of my favorite multi-colored flower. but the drive was not for naught, as the daffodils were in full glory amongst ridiculously epic skies (the tulips are now in bloom so expect some portraits from the fields coming soon).
had some technical issues with my portrait lens and we were losing light fast, but the fun part of art is taking a photo that may be technically imperfect and still making something beautiful out of it. here are several from the day, hope you enjoy!
