i don't normally do street photography, but this event was too important to pass up. it turned out to be the largest march in seattle's history with over 175,000 people in attendance.
the march was peaceful & powerful. note the many smiles of some of the marchers i was able to capture. people told me they felt it was a much needed day of feeling connected and empowered.
some of the signs are hilarious, some are very serious. more than anything though, they seemed unified in their desire for peace, justice, and american values.
